AN EXCELLENT MILD-FLAVOURED FISH

Haddock - 50-100 cm.

Haddock is related to cod, of the Gadus-family. Somewhat smaller than cod but with the same excellent lean and mild flavour.
It is caught in the same areas as cod, i.e. the North Sea and the Northern Atlantic Ocean around Iceland.

Season: caught mainly from January to May, but available throughout the year.

Haddock is available as frozen whole fish or fillets, skin-on or skinless. Packed IQF, layer or in industrial blocks.
